Fall Repairs

While the typical summer weekend consists of yard work, it seems that Fall brings home repairs. Those last minute weekend warrior fixes before the snow starts to fly. My wife and I just bought a new house (we had previously enjoyed the peaceful bliss of condo ownership), and now I'm trying to replace many of the tools my ex-wife absconded with. So it was a refreshing change to find a blog that highlights the rediculous, the clever and the just plain lame ads from around the country and world. AdRants.com is a great site with a daily email newsletter you can sign up for.

It's a time of joy for parents and one of misery for children across the country. Yep, it's back to school time! And while parents everywhere are relieved to be sending their littleones back to school, we are faced with the inevitable back-to-school shopping.
